Michael Cohen - San Francisco-Based Venture Capital Executive
Based in San Francisco, Michael Cohen holds a multifaceted leadership role across tech investment sectors, including transportation and mobility. At the helm of SAIC Capital, he raises venture capital that underpins autonomous driving and next-generation batteries. Another area of focus for Michael Cohen is hydrogen data centers that combine liquid-cooled cabinets with high-power capacities. Such models are required to sustainably host energy-intensive AI applications.
Mr. Cohen’s background includes founding and serving as the president of Advanced Data Centers, where he oversaw a portfolio of wholesale data centers focused on corporate/enterprise applications. Negotiations he undertook with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District resulted in major energy savings while generating 90MW of usable power.
Mr. Cohen also possesses experience as a principal at Global Crossing Ventures, Inc., where he delivered solutions in areas such as application development and Internet/communications equipment and services. He has volunteered with the Guardsmen in San Francisco for more than a decade and worked to provide young people with enriching camping experiences.
